I always say that yoga was one of the tools that I used that help save my life. Back in 2009, I was in a was in a Hatha yoga class in my local neighborhood and I felt something "off" in my body. After multiple doctor visits and a diagnosis of an aggressive auto-immune disorder it led me down another pathway to embrace new realization of self and alternative healing practices. This experience empowered me to become more rooted in merging herbal medicine with holistic living and avoiding a health crisis.
As a trained vitalist, herbalist, certified Kemetic Yoga Instructor (CKYT-200) and Sacred Woman Womb Yoga Dance Teacher/Practitioner, I applied these and many more with my life experience to assist others on their path of joy, wellness and peace. Sharing benefits of ancestral yogic practice with sacred plant spirit wisdom to support the optimal health of the mind, body and spirit is my mission. My mission has opened up doors for me to teach Fertility Yoga in hospital settings and teach women, men and teens in community organizational gatherings. I am here ready, willing and able to spread the good news and tools. Remember, you always have a choice to take charge and take hold of your health! Let's begin!

Afrakan Conscious Yogaflow ClassKemetic Yoga was "re-discovered" as an attempt to define yoga in such a way that people of African descent from all over the world could relate to it. This method was coined and developed from primary research conducted by Dr. Asar Hapi and Master Yogi Yirser Ra Hotep (Elvrid Lawrence), who termed Kemetic Yoga™ in the 1970s.
The Ancient Egyptian African system of Kemetic Yoga is based on the Rule of 4 breath and meditation through the poses. As a result, they are restorative to the body, mind and spirit. One of the main benefits of Kemetic yoga if practiced consistently can bring holistic balance, peace and harmony to the yogi man, woman and child fostering a union with their higher consciousness and divine self. Originally, this practice was referred to as Smai Tawi, meaning “union of the two lands” and union with the divine. In addition to teaching Kemetic Restorative Yoga, PaTea offers herbal consultations by appointment. |

These practical yoga poses emphasize caring for the creative center of the woman, the womb, on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. In addition to teaching Womb Yoga Dance™, PaTea offers Private Elemental Readings (Radionics) to determine opportunities for focus self-healing in areas the body.
